  白振国,西安电子科技大学数学与统计学院。于2011年在西安交通大学获得博士学位,导师为周义仓教授。于2016年9月至2017年9月在加拿大纽芬兰纪念大学进行学术访问,合作导师为赵晓强教授。主要从事生物数学与应用动力系统方面的研究。相关工作在《 J.Math.Biol.》、《Math.Biosci.》、《J.Theoret.Biol.》、《Nonlinear Anal.》、《J. Math. Anal. Appl.》、《 Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst. Ser. B》等国内外知名期刊上发表学术论文20篇;先后主持国家青年自然科学基金项目2项和省青年基金1项。

报告摘要:

  Diapause as a process of physiological rest is widespread in insects and other invertebrate organisms. It is a key survival mechanism in response to adverse environmental conditions. In this paper, by dividing the growth period of mosquitoes into three stages: normal growth period, diapause period, and post diapause period, we construct a reaction-diffusion model to study the effects of diapause on population growth. In the case of a bounded habitat, we obtain a threshold result on the global dynamics of the model. In an unbounded habitat, we establishthe existence of the disease spreading speed and its coincidence with the minimal wave speed fortime-periodic traveling wave solutions (only adult mosquitoes). We also carry out numerical simulations to verify theoretical results and explore the influences of two different diapausing strategies on the dynamics of mosquitoes. It is found that diapausing in the adult stage ismore benefit to survival in mosquitoes, and has a larger invasion speed.
